Philosophy Miracle Worker Dark Spot Corrector is indeed a miracle worker. I have severe hyperpigmentation issues from acne that has been going on for too damn long!! Lol. I don't have sun spots so I am not sure how this will work on those, but I can tell you that this has been working like a charm on my acne marks.

I have tried a few dark spot correctors like Paula's Choice Skin Lightener, Lancome Vissionaire, and Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector. After using a few products with hydroquinone, which is the most popular dark spot targeting ingredient, I realized it does nothing for me. So I decided to focus on trying products without hydroquinone as a main active ingredient. 

I wasn't too hopeful when I started using it because of past let downs and because I know dark spots are difficult to deal with. In the first month, I wasn't too sure if I was seeing any results. But after the first month, SCORE!!! \o/ I saw serious results. One day, I just realized that my marks were much fainter than they have been before. Results seen after 4 weeks? They really aren't kidding. It really does take that long to be able to see the difference.

It's meant to be used at night. I put two pumps all over my face and down my neck, focusing on areas with more hyperpigmentations. I have been using for about three months, and I am almost done with it. A little tip. From the pump packaging, you can't see how much is left. But on the bottom, there is a hole. If you put something thin in it, you can guestimate how much is left/whether you need one soon. :)

It's light brown and lotion-y consistency. It's not thick nor runny. It spreads and absorbs well.

This hasn't gotten rid of marks completely. I don't really expect it to as that will probably require procedures at dermatologist's office. But this really has lightened my marks a lot, and my skin hasn't "gotten used to it". It's still going strong. It's my holy grail product!! I highly recommend it if hydroquinone products haven't worked, and you are not tired of trying it new products! :)
