Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio in GD804 Opera

Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio in GD804 Opera
When I first looked at the color trio, I thought it wasn't going to work on me. But after hearing raves after raves, I looked up some EOTDs, it looked great on many many people with variety of skin tone. So I decided to give it a try.
Shiseido Trio in Opera consists of dark olive, pale gold, and light blue. All three colors are shimmery. The texture is wonderful. It feels smooth and finely milled. I have to say this is one of the easiest formula to work with in my stash. Love! The pigmentation is great but it doesn't look like a solid block of color on my eyes but a shimmery wash. Also it wears well. No fading and lasts a bit longer than some of my other shadows.

I unintentionally ended up with few out of focus pictures that shows shimmers pretty well so I hope you can get a sense of how pretty these are. :)

I think this trio is a genius color combination. These colors are not the colors that are typically flattering on me so I wasn't immediately attracted to this trio. But I am absolutely in love with how Opera looks on my eyes. It makes me look very awake and brightened. Also it's one of more fun palettes to play with the placement. Even if you don't like the color combination right away, I highly recommend you to check out EOTDs or try it!

  1. I love your blog!!! But wow, these shadows seem really sheer... I don't own many Shiseido powder eye shadows and looking at these makes me want to stick to NARS. :)

    1. Thank you!! :) These are quite pigmented but not solid block of color like some others. Definitely different from most NARS.
